Retail Ireland Summit 2017

Exploring Experiential Retail

Guinness Storehouse

12 October 2017

Wrap up

Retail Ireland Summit 2017

For our 2017 event we explored experiential retail, a top priority for all retailers.

We explored how retailers have found a powerful way of drawing in consumers through collaborations, creativity and the provision of personalised and engaging experiences. These techniques will revolutionise how your customers shop for, learn about and interact with your products.

Key points that were discussed included:

  • Average “dwell time” in an Irish store is 20 minutes
  • Peer to peer endorsement is far more powerful than any mass marketing messaging
  • Authenticity is the key to creating a meaningful engagement with your customers

Our Retail Gurus 2017

We are proud to present an outstanding, global and local panel of retail experts to share with you the latest market insights, ideas and inspiration. Expect powerful presentations, case studies and demos.

Guinness Storehouse

Come and explore Ireland’s number one visitor attraction, providing an unforgettable welcome and a magical journey deep into the heart of the world famous Guinness brand and company. This historical building is central to Dublin’s and Ireland’s heritage, and has been continually updated to create a blend of fascinating industrial tradition with a contemporary edge. The seven floors bring to life the rich heritage of Guinness, telling the story from its origins here at St. James’s Gate in Dublin to its growth as a global brand, known all around the world.

Guinness Storehouse is also home to the Guinness Flagship Retail Store packed with unique and exclusive merchandise and memorabilia. On October 12, we want to stimulate new ways of thinking about existing ideas and concepts and we hope that by being at the Guinness Storehouse, you will be inspired
